For more than 10 years, the JHU Recycling Program has been collecting recyclable materials on the JHU campuses and ensuring that these materials are properly handled. During this time, the program has grown considerably to meet the needs of an expanded campus and an ever-changing world.

Collecting traditional recyclables (e.g., bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard), while still at the heart of the program, is really just one part of what we do. We are also adapting to new challenges by collecting electronic equipment for responsible recycling and organic waste for composting.

As the world continues to change, and our campus continues to grow, the JHU Recycling Program is committed to identifying new and innovative ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle on the JHU campuses and in the community.
